The Kaopectate Multi-Symptom Relief Coated Caplets (Pack of 2) provide quick and effective relief from various stomach discomforts. These anti-diarrhea-coated caplets are designed to address seven types of stomach ailments. The multi-symptom relief formula can help alleviate heartburn, indigestion, diarrhea, traveler's diarrhea, a queasy stomach, and gas.

To use the product, take two Kaopectate Multi-Symptom Relief Caplets when symptoms occur, and repeat this dose every 30 to 60 minutes as needed. Swallow the caplets with water and do not chew them. Repeat the dosing every 1/2 hour to 1 hour as required, but do not exceed 8 doses in 24 hours. Use the caplets until the diarrhea stops, but not more than 2 days. Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea.

If the printed inner seal on the bottle is broken or missing, do not use the product. For adults and children 12 years of age and older, the recommended dosage is 2 caplets. For children under 12 years, consult a doctor before use.

There are several important warnings to consider when using this product. Reye's syndrome warning: Children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product. If changes in behavior with nausea and vomiting occur, consult a doctor, as these symptoms could be an early sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness.

Allergy alert: The product contains salicylate, so do not take it if you are allergic to salicylates (including aspirin) or if you are taking other salicylate products. Do not use the product if you have an ulcer, a bleeding problem, or bloody or black stool.
